Volunteers - How would we survive without you?

Our volunteers are our most important and valuable asset. They beaver away some in the background and some more visibly. Anyone is welcome to join us. You decide your level of involvement and how and when you wish to participate. Be a Board member; be a project volunteer. We are always looking for new volunteers.

A Valuable Asset

Peggy Miller, the granddaughter of John Hunter Dawson, third Coxwain of Newbiggin Lifeboat, has donated three of his notebooks and a collection of old photographs to Newbiggin Heritage Partnership. They are all on display in the Community Gallery at Newbiggin Maritime Centre. The Newbiggin Genealogy Group has published a booklet of them and this is also available.
